Spar Point Farm

Spar Point Farm is presently the only agro-tourism venue on Block Island, offering a peaceful farm-stay in historic cottages brimming with island charm and overlooking the ocean. There are three cottages on the farm that each accommodate groups of 6-10 people for 7-night minimum stays during the summer high season. There is also a “studio” cottage that accommodates 1-2 people for 3-night minimum stays. During the spring and fall, all of the cottages are available for 3-night minimum stays.
 

The farm includes the island’s only working vineyard, a fruit tree orchard, honeybee apiary, produce and flower gardens, greenhouse, chicken run, and an outdoor wood-fired clay bread oven. It offers a winning combination of being well off the main road for privacy and quiet, but less than 10 minutes by car from the main port town and 5 minutes from the airport. The farm is flanked by 230 acres of conservation land to the west and enjoys sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, striking sunsets, and wondrous stargazing. Guests can enjoy the serenity of the setting in and around their private accommodations, and if interested they may also partake in the farm’s periodic tours and indulge in the farm’s various offerings such as honey, freshly baked breads, farm-fresh eggs, and a wide array of seasonal produce.
