The beautiful Southeast Lighthouse has stunning views of Mohegan Bluffs and the Block Island Wind Farm. The Southeast Lighthouse is the second lighthouse located on Block Island and was built in 1875, but in 1993, it was moved 300 feet inland due to the threat of erosion. The national historic landmark offers tours of the lighthouse and a gift shop open during the summer. 

$10/$8  - Self-guided tour of the newly refurbished cottage in duplex. Learn about island history and art. See original 1880s furnishings in the light keepers’ quarters museum.

$20/$16 - Combo Tower tour—Guided only, NEW in 2021 visitors have access to outside watch deck with 360-degree view.

$15/$12 Tower Tour, Guided Only. Tower tours are limited in size. Once a group is formed, depart about every half hour. Take 56 steps up on a spiral cast-iron staircase. Allow time to enjoy your visit. Tour is about 20 minutes. Don’t forget your camera!
