Kirtan is a traditional practice of call-and-response chanting that originated in India. Using simple Sanskrit mantras, participants sing, listen, and experience the music together in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. While Kirtan has roots in a devotional tradition, this gathering is open to everyone—no experience or spiritual background is needed.

Many people simply enjoy it as a peaceful, musical, and meditative experience.
