We are excited to announce that our annual “Stuff-A-Cruiser” event will be held at the Block Island Grocery Store.
We are hoping to stuff our New Shoreham Police Vehicles with as many food donations as possible!
All donations go directly to our own Block Island Helping Hands Food Pantry!
Shelf stable food donations and grocery gift cards gratefully accepted!
Please avoid donating expired foods, thx!)
Canned and jarred goods
-Canned vegetables
Canned fruit
Canned or pouched proteins (tuna, chicken, salmon, or beans)
Soups and stews
Spaghetti sauce
Canned tomatoes
Grains and pasta
Pasta and pasta sauce
Rice (brown rice is a great option)
Cereals
Oatmeal (instant or rolled oats)
Pancake mix
Other staples
Peanut butter and jelly
Dried beans and lentils
Shelf-stable milk or milk substitutes
Baking supplies (flour, sugar, baking soda, oil)
Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate
Snacks (granola bars, nuts, dried fruit)
Also accepting baby formula
and diapers as well as personal hygiene products (soaps shampoo, toothpaste )
Helping Hands Pantry requesting these "other staples" come in small boxes, not large size.
