Business Reopening Guidelines

Beginning on May 9, 2020, non-critical retail establishments may begin limited in-person customer shopping. As a reminder, in order to reopen for Phase I, please complete and sign the following checklist indicating that you have reviewed the State of Rhode Island general business and non-critical retail business guidelines.

This poster should be visible for employees and customers in your place of business. And it should be posted before you reopen your doors for walk-in business.  A full listing of general business guidelines and guidelines specifically for non-critical retail businesses can be found by clicking the button below.

Your full COVID-19 Control Plan template is due by May 18.

โœ… COVID-19 Control Plan: Business owners are asked to fill out a simple plan outlining how they will prevent the spread of COVID-19 in their workplace. You *do not* need to submit that plan for approval. But keep it handy on your premises so you can consult it as you operate your business; youโ€™ll also need to present it in the case of an inspection or an outbreak.
