Business Reopening Guidelines

Beginning on May 9, 2020, non-critical retail establishments may begin limited in-person customer shopping. As a reminder, in order to reopen for Phase I, please complete and sign the following checklist indicating that you have reviewed the State of Rhode Island general business and non-critical retail business guidelines.

Checklist

This poster should be visible for employees and customers in your place of business. And it should be posted before you reopen your doors for walk-in business. State Guidelines

Your full COVID-19 Control Plan template is due by May 18.

Useful Resources:

✅ COVID-19 Control Plan: Business owners are asked to fill out a simple plan outlining how they will prevent the spread of COVID-19 in their workplace. You *do not* need to submit that plan for approval. But keep it handy on your premises so you can consult it as you operate your business; you’ll also need to present it in the case of an inspection or an outbreak.
