Settler's Rock
Settlers Rock Washington County RI
Follow Corn Neck Road all the way to the very end, and you will find the Settler’s Rock. Tucked between Sachem Pond and the North Light, the Settler’s Rock marks the spot where Block Island’s original English settlers first landed in 1661. Look closely, and you will see the engraved names of each settler on this historical landmark.
There is a space for visitors to park their cars or bikes and continue beyond the Settler’s Rock to the North Light, a must-see duo on your visit to magical Block Island.
